Disable "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power"

Sometimes a computer will turn off certain programs, services, and even hardware after a period of inactivity. The instructions below will walk you through the steps to NOT allow the computer to turn off the network card to save power.
1.) Click on your start button
2.) Click on control panel
3.) Click on System
4.) Choose the tab"Hardware"
5.) Click on "Device Manager" - Device Manager's window will appear with a list of hardware
6.) Click on the plus sign next to "Network adapters"
7.) Right-Click on your network adapter - example Intel Pro 1000
8.) Choose Properties
9.) Choose the tab "Power Management"
10.) UNCHECK "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power"
